The match ultimately starts as a 4-on-2 handicap match. Natsumi shakes hands with the Hanan sisters, and as soon as the bell rings, they attack all at once. They corner Gibbs, and the sisters launch a running attack starting with Natsumi. After a tomoe nage, Rina and Hinami slam Gibbs to the mat and apply armbars from both sides. Hanan then applies a figure-four leglock. Natsumi ties her mother to the ropes. Rina and Hinami try to throw Gibbs into the corner, but are slammed back down. Nevertheless, they dodge her charge and roll her up. Hinami and Rina take turns pinning Gibbs, but can't get the three count. Gibbs body slams Rina. Natsumi hit Gibbs with a series of shoulder tackles. She followed up with a DDT and then stopped him with an El Nudo. She then followed up with a series of foot stomps. JAN, consisting of Jungle Kyona, Tora Natsuko, Yoneyama Kaori, and Ruaka, will clash with Oedo Tai, consisting of Kagetsu, Hazuki, Natsu Sumire, and Jamie Hayter, in an eight-woman tag team match. Originally, a singles match between Ruaka and Hayter was scheduled as the first match, but Hayter joined Oedo Tai at Shin-Kiba the day before, and the card was changed at Kagetsu's request. Also, with Kyona and Natsuko shaking hands and the matter seemingly resolved amicably, facing Oedo Tai is an excellent opportunity for JAN to demonstrate their unity. Kagetsu and Kyona will have a preliminary match leading up to the World of Stardom Championship match scheduled for January 14th at Korakuen Hall. It will be interesting to see what kind of fight Kyona, who will be challenging for the red belt for the first time, will put up. On the other hand, Oedo Tai's Hazuki, who has become the High Speed Champion, is also one to watch. Starlight Kid and AZM challenged for the title at Korakuen Hall on December 24th, but it remains to be seen how the title defense road will unfold. Will we see something from this match, or...?
After the Oedo Tai dance, the haters entered. Kyoko stepped forward, Kagetsu stepped back, and Natsu started the match. The match began with Yoneyama vs. Natsu. Natsu pretended to grapple but repeatedly chanted "Happy New Year." Following the previous day, she sang "We will rock you." As expected, she transitioned into Freddie Mercury, but Yoneyama cut her off and she was booed. Natsuko and Hazuki engaged in a test of strength with their hands clinched. Hazuki applied a headlock, and when Natsuko threw her, they exchanged shoulder tackles. Natsuko won the shoulder tackle exchange but had her leg pulled from outside the ring. When Natsuko was brought back, Hazuki gave her a face wash. Kagetsu landed a series of middle kicks on Natsuko and a soccer ball kick. Kagetsu provoked her and let her hit an elbow. Natsuko charged forward but had her leg pulled and was caught on the apron by Hazuki. Kagetsu then delivered a swan dive foot stomp. Five minutes had passed. Natsu slams Natsuko into the corner and taunts her, "It's the New Year, cheer up!" She then delivers a Bronco Buster, saying, "Those who can't try hard will be punished!" Hazuki holds Natsuko to the ropes and the Oedo Tai team launches a full-scale attack. Hazuki lands a flurry of elbows on Natsuko, who retaliates with a spinebuster. Yoneyama and Ruaka send Hazuki flying with a double shoulder tackle. Natsu cuts off Hazuki's attempted brainbuster and joins forces with Hazuki to deliver a spear attack. Yoneyama and Ruaka team up to crush Natsu and Hazuki. Natsuko lands a series of spears on Hazuki as she charges. Natsuko lands a backfist followed by a series of elbows on Hazuki. Hazuki counters with a Codebreaker and a big boot. Kagetsu brings Natsuko back and calls in Kyoka. Natsuko charges forward, but Kagetsu kicks her away and calls in Kyoka. Kyoka and Kagetsu exchange elbows. As Kagetsu charges forward, Kyoka counters with an elbow. Kyoka then hits a lariat. Kagetsu dodges the lariat and applies an armbar and a triangle choke. However, Kyoka lifts her up and slams her down. Ten minutes have passed. Kagetsu hits a high kick followed by an Ebisu Drop. She kicks Kyoka in the side of the head, then picks her up and charges forward, but Kyoka stops her and delivers a powerbomb. Hater finally enters the ring and heads towards Kyoka. Hater dodges Ruaka's crossbody, causing it to miss. Cornered, she takes a series of corner attacks from the Oedo Tai. She also takes a kick from both sides, but Yoneyama makes the break. Yoneyama and Natsuko team up, but their legs are pulled from under the ring. Kagetsu and Hazuki perform a tope suicida. Kyoka also dives to the outside and heads towards Kagetsu. Ruaka slams Hater down and performs a fantastic flip with Natsuko. However, Hazuki makes the break just in time. Luaka attempted a Fisherman Suplex on Hater. Luaka charged, but Yamaguchi struck him with a weapon from the apron. Hater landed a knee strike and pinned Luaka, who was unable to escape, and the referee counted to three
Kagetsu: "Hey Jungle Kyona, don't you dare act all high and mighty. If you're going to act so high and mighty, then let's settle this here and now!"
Screaming Woman: "I've finally seized this opportunity with my own hands, and I'll settle this properly at Korakuen Hall on January 14th."
Kagetsu and Kyoko grab each other's hair
Kagetsu: "No matter how many times you try, the result won't change."

*The inaugural champion failed in her sixth title defense. Utami Hayashishita becomes the second champion
Utami Hayashishita, the 2018 Rookie of the Year, who defended the Goddess of Stardom Championship alongside Momo Watanabe at Korakuen Hall on December 24th, has declared her intention to capture all of Stardom's titles. This includes the Future of Stardom Championship. However, who could have predicted that she would actually challenge for it? This could be considered the biggest crisis yet for Kid, who has enjoyed an unshakeable defense of the belt since winning it in the inaugural championship tournament last March. That said, if Kid defeats Utami here, it could also increase the chances of her challenging for other singles titles. Furthermore, if Utami wins the title, it would be a remarkable achievement to win it on her first singles title challenge. It will also be interesting to see how she handles the title afterward
Kid offers a handshake, but Utami refuses. They lock up, and Utami pushes Kid into the ropes for a clean break. Kid takes Kid's back, and they grapple for the back. Kid targets Utami's knee with a low dropkick. She puts Kid's right knee on the third rope and delivers a dropkick. She follows up with a series of foot stomps to the right knee. She pulls Kid's right leg back into a figure-four leglock. Utami tries to reverse, but Kid quickly returns to the hold. Utami escapes, but Kid continues to stomp on her right knee. Kid charges, but Utami slams her to the mat. Utami corners Kid and delivers a dropkick. Kid dodges and delivers a dropkick, then goes for a 619. Utami catches her and swings her, but Kid rolls her up. Kid charges, but Utami delivers a shoulder tackle. Utami attempts an STO, but falls to the ground clutching her right knee. Utami pulls her up and throws her into the ropes, but Kid leaps in and delivers a DDT. Kid landed another 619 and a standing moonsault press. When Utami kicked out, Kid went for a neck screw. Utami countered and cornered Kid. However, Kid countered with a dropkick to Utami's right knee. Kid delivered a dropkick in a skewer motion and also landed a Shiranui. Five minutes had passed, and when Utami kicked out, Kid landed an elbow. Utami retaliated, and they exchanged elbows. Kid delivered a slap, followed by a neck screw, a frog splash, and a spinning diving body press. "It's over!" she shouted and climbed back up to the corner. Utami went for an Argentine backbreaker, but Kid countered. However, Utami put her in a sleeper hold from behind. Kid escaped, and Utami went for an Argentine backbreaker. Kid countered with a hurricanrana. Utami kicked out, and Kid charged in for a Momo☆Latch. Utami managed to kick out, and Kid jumped on her. Utami countered with a shoulder tackle. Utami sent Kid flying with a missile kick. When Kid returned the hold, Utami pulled him up and went for a German suplex. Kid countered and dodged a lariat. However, Utami caught him and threw him backwards. When Kid kicked out, Utami applied a sleeper hold. Utami continued to choke him with a reverse slam followed by a sleeper hold. Utami released the hold and shook him with an Argentine backbreaker. Kid tapped out and Utami won her first singles belt
Comment from Utami
"I was able to successfully take the Future belt from Starlight Kid. I thought she was an opponent I should have beaten, but Starlight Kid's technique and speed were incredible. I don't think there's anyone who can beat me or challenge for the Future title after taking it from someone like her, so I want to hold onto it for the next two years. Well, I didn't think she would be an opponent I could beat easily or quickly, and there were many times when she attacked my legs a lot, which was tough, but she was definitely an opponent worthy of being the first Future Champion."

◆ New Year's Battle Royale - Unlimited Time |

| Starlight Kid |
16 minutes 15 seconds |
Utami Hayashishita |
Almost all the wrestlers who competed in this tournament took part in this battle royal. The winner was determined by three-count pinfall, submission, or over-the-top-rope rules. When Nakano was eliminated by over-the-top-rope, only Momo, Utami, Kyoka, and Yoneyama remained in the ring. Yoneyama climbed onto the corner and they all attacked at once, but Kyoka's charge was interrupted by the ropes, sending JAN to the apron. QQ's triple dropkick eliminated two of them. Hazuki and Konami exchanged elbows. Momo climbed onto the corner and received a high kick from Hazuki and Konami, sending both Momo and Hazuki to the apron. Hazuki dodged Konami's charge, leaving Momo and Konami hanging in mid-air, and Hazuki kicked them down. Kid and Hazuki clashed on the ramp. After an exchange of elbows on the ramp, Kid delivered a hurricanrana. Hazuki returned to the ring and delivered a codebreaker. Hazuki lifted Kid up and attempted an over-the-top-rope submission. Kid clings on and drops Hazuki into a head scissors. Utami attacks from behind and applies a reverse figure-four leglock. Kid escapes and Utami attempts a missile kick, but Kid dodges it and goes for a Magistral. Kid delivers a dropkick and then attempts a Shiranui on Utami. Utami resists and lifts Kid up to the ropes. They grapple and it's Utami who falls. Kid gets revenge for her loss in the Future Championship match and wins the battle
Kid: "I won the battle royal! I lost the Future belt, but I'll bring back the High Speed belt in the High Speed match scheduled for the 6th!"
Hazuki: "I'm not giving you the High Speed belt on the 6th. Not that I need it anyway. Its value won't increase even if I give it to you. But, well, use your kid brain and think about how you can get the belt."
Kid: "I'll use my head, and even though I'm small, I'll definitely wear the High Speed belt, just like High Speed should, so if you can, please come to Osaka to support me. I won today, so can STARS close the show? Believe in the present, shine tomorrow, We are STARDOM!"
